4-week Mini series in MINdful meditation

This 4 week course will offer a light introduction to mindfulness meditation. We’ll explore the practice of mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, and mind, while cultivating inner resources such as self-compassion and outer resources like community care just by being together. Each session will include a short introduction talk, a guided meditation, and closing discussion with time for Q&R (question & response). Each week will build upon the next. You’ll end the four weeks with a foundational understanding of mindfulness equipped with easy practices to weave throughout your daily life. No experience necessary. All levels are welcome. session are led by Janessa Herman

Mala Making Workshop

Join Bridget for a magical afternoon of mala making, movement and meditation! In this workshop we will be begin by doing some light yoga to prepare us to sit with some background history on mala’s and proper etiquette.  Followed by learning how to make your very own mala necklace, an incredible tool to use to count your japa mantras! This will included a live demonstration, step- by- step printed out take-home instructions, 109 beads (rudruksha, gemstones, plus the guru bead), tassel, needle and thread.  Once the mala’s are completed you will have the opportunity to sit and meditate, introducing some mantra that you are invited to use and chant!
